To run the Gunfire breakfast event, we need approximatley 25-30 volunteers from our Scouting families. A mix of adults and uniformed youth members is essential. The tasks include:
- Cooking bacon and eggs on BBQs (experience essential - about 5 people)
- Managing food preparation in kitchens including keeping food hot in the ovens (about 5 people)
- Serving food (5 people)
- Food runners - from BBQs to kitchens to serving area (3 people)
- Checking tea and coffee stations and table clearing - constantly checking on things and bringing used plates, cups and cutlery back to kitchens for washing up (4 people)
- Washing up - speaks for itself (6 people in shifts)
- Pack-down marquees, tables, chairs, etc
