The 1st Bungendore Scout Group was formed in 1933.  We have a thriving group of around 80 youth members with a busy calendar of activities each school term.

We provide a dynamic, challenging and adventurous program of activities. Activities are managed according to age, skill and confidence levels to ensure each child has the opportunity to develop at their own pace. In addition to weekly meetings at the Scout Hall, we conduct many camps, canoeing, raft building, bushwalking, bushcraft, cycling, water safety, community and environmental activities.

Our youth sections meet at the Scout Hall, 66 Turallo Terrace Bungendore (located near the High School, swimming pool and parklands on the north-eastern side of Bungendore), as follows:

  • Joey Scouts (5-8 yrs) , Mondays 6:15-7:15 pm. (As of Feb 2025, there is a waitlist of approximately six months. Please contact us to put your child's name on the list.)
  • Cub Scouts (8-11 yrs), Thursdays 6:30-8:00 pm. (As of Feb 2025, there is a waitlist of approximately 12-18 months. Please contact us to put your child's name on the list.)
