To run the Gunfire breakfast event, we need approximatley 25-30 volunteers from our Scouting families. A mix of adults and uniformed youth members is essential. The tasks include:
Cooking sausages and eggs on BBQs (about 5 people needed). Experience is essential to do this well so volunteer as an apprentice.
Managing food preparation in kitchens under the watchful eye of Rory. We need about 5 people to assist.
Serving food. The Venturers do this.
Food runners - from BBQs to kitchens to serving area. 3-4 people, typically scouts and cubs.
Checking tea and coffee stations and table clearing - constantly checking on things and bringing used plates, cups and cutlery back to kitchens for washing up. Cubs and scouts under adult guidance - 4 people.
Washing up - speaks for itself (6 people in shifts)
